Directing

Since being at TCU, I have assisted Krista Scott for TCU's Mainstage production of The Importance of Being Earnest, assistant directed Sexual Perversity in Chicago for Brooke Honcharik, directed a production of The Vagina Monologues for The TCU V-Day Campaign, and a short play, Annabel Lee, for Theatre TCU's directing class.

I attended the 2016 Kennedy Center MFA Playwright's Workshop, where I served as an Assistant Director to Tina Parker on the play Tight End.

This September, I directed a staged reading of a new play, Velas, written by fellow student Chris Herrero as part of Theatre TCU's Playwright's Stage. 

This academic year, I am the President of the TCU V-Day Campaign, working effectively as a Producer for their productions of No Limits and The Vagina Monologues.

Carpentry

For the past two years, I have worked in Theatre TCU's Scenic Studio.

In the Scenic Studio, I work ten hours a week as a carpenter. I have experience with most power tools, including miter saws, table saws, jigsaws, band saws, circular saws, saber saws, drills and impact drivers, framing nailers and other pneumatic nailers/staplers, as well as experience in welding and metal working.

Props Building & Props Mastering

My first two years at TCU, I worked 10 hours a week in the Theatre TCU Props Studio. As a props grant, I worked on pulling, buying, renting, and making the rehearsal and performance props needed for the three Theatre TCU productions every semester.

I worked as a Props Intern and Blood Technician for the 2015 Trinity Shakespeare Festival, making props for Love's Labours Lost and King Lear.

Some of my skills include blood pack making, painting, upholstery, and special prop construction. For example, I made a grayscale, zip-up, edible 'banana' out of a modified bananagrams case and marshmallows for a production of A Day In Hollywood/A Night In the Ukraine.
